Hudson Saroyan Mastercrafts make some of the best finger cymbals there are and that is exactly what is being offered here along with their Nefertiti Finger Cymbals/Zills and Brass Arabesque Zills/Finger Cymbals (not to mention the Brass Arabesque II Zills/Finger Cymbals for professionals). If you want to know how any of their cymbals sound when used you can go to Saroyan's own website and listen to the MP3's they have there; they are found on their "Finger Cymbals for Students & Advanced Dancers" page (or the "Finger Cymbals for Advanced & Professional Dancers"). I purchased mine from Amazon instead of going directly through Saroyan Mastercrafts because I had other purchases to make on Amazon for other bellydance products and it was more convenient to have everything shipped all together.
I am interested in eventually purchasing the Brass Arabesque zills as I love their deeper tone but I went with the Turkish Delight instead since they, like the Nefertiti, are rated for beginners to intermediate and the Arabesque are for intermediate to advanced students. I am also interested in learning Turkish style dance which influenced my final decision between the two. There is a difference between the Turkish and the Arabic style zills. The Turkish style is more bell like and will continue ringing for a longer period. The tone on these is lovely but you may want to invest in zill muffs for practice since the constant ringing can be overwhelming during practice. It carries really well and people will hear it in other rooms and possibly even outside of your home, especially if you live in an apartment and have thinner walls. Your family will thank you.
I highly recommend this product for anyone who is serious about learning a new percussion instrument or is looking to replace a lower quality zill they already have. These are quality instruments and you won't be disappointed.
