This veil was a beautiful red, but as far as quality goes, there was much to be desired. When I went to use this veil in class it seemed much lighter than I expected - I had been told that 5 - 8 mm were good weights to use for veils and this definitely seemed lighter than the ones my teacher had let me borrow. Hers were mostly 5's. It was definitely harder to catch the air under it and keep it afloat. To add insult to injury, after my first class with it, the edges frayed and some of the fibers began to come apart.

This silk veil flows beautifully when I dance. It has been used for a cover-up also and is a pretty addition to my dance wardrobe.
