Very pretty, somewhat uncomfortableJan 07, 2011

The seller sort of glosses over the fact that there are actually two different products sold under this listing-- one that fastens in the back, and a bangle-type, whichever is in stock when you place your order. I received the bangle-style bracelet, and was a little disappointed with it. For one thing, the bracelet was very stiff. It doesn't move very well at all, and the bangle-style band at the top had it sliding around my wrist.
For another, it was huge! I know that it's meant to be a bracelet OR an anklet, but it really needs to be one or the other. I had to get out the pliers and remove several rows of coins and links to make this able to fit my hand-- talk about a lot of work! The ring at the bottom could have easily fitted the finger of a large man-- I had to bend it so far I was afraid it would break to keep it from rotating around my finger. All in all, the whole piece was very large (even when I tried it on as an anklet, it was huge), and required extensive customization to fit even close to correctly.
The piece is also very itchy; the links that make up it tend to scratch the back of my hand.
Overall, it's very pretty, but the quality is disappointing.
