Soft brilliant blue silk harem pants have an elasticized waistband which is 27" when relaxed and will stretch to 48". They are 36" long and have an inseam of 26". They are quite full and are very comfortable. You can almost see through them, but not quite. The ankles are also elasticized.

looks better in the pictureMay 01, 2011
By B. baysinger I really didn't want harem pants, I preferred a skirt, but I've had a really hard time finding a bottom peice that I liked in this shade of blue so I decided to try these. they look much better in the picture than in person. I don't know how to explain it, they just look very costumey. in fact when I tried them on with my top piece and a hip scarf my son said it looked like a halloween costume. definately not the look I wanted to achieve. they are also much more see-thru than I expected them to be and they bunch up too much at the bottom (I am 5'4) so I tripped on them twice in the few minutes I had them on. if you want these to wear as a costume they are fine I guess but they are not suitable for performance in my opinion.
