Looks like it was dipped in silver--drips are hardened; bells are solid and hit the stars to jingle; inaccurate sizing-they included large clasp-more like 8"....don't waste your $.

By Alay Fast shipping. Well packaged. Was not what I expected. It is bigger, bulkier, and not as delicate as it appears in the photo. It is too big for girls with thinner ankles and actually hits the floor since it is too big. Girls with larger, thicker, ankles should be able to keep it from hitting the floor. The only sound it makes is not from the bells, but from all the metal clanging together. If you are looking for an anklet with a nice soft bell sound try the Anklet with Biddy Bells from the same seller. It is smaller, lighter and the bells really work. These seem to be dipped in a silver and gold (I got both colors) coating which renders the bells useless.
